Edesign or virtual Interior Design created to highlight my Phoenix Rising fractal art series and express its energy in a space. Phoenix Rising is about stepping into the fire, burning away all your hurts and fears that define who you and rising from the ashes of all that does not serve you. This is part of my Fire Element collection. In Chinese healing arts, the fire element represents transformation, divinity, power, and passion. It can also represent destruction. The fire phase is a state of peak power and manifesting. Here you are in the maximum state of doing and activity. Hello Mary Ann, your beautiful artwork can grace any wall anywhere in the world. The beauty of your art is a reflection of the beauty of your soul. As someone who comes from a Zoroastrian background, I can relate to what you wrote about fire representing transformation, divinity, and passion. For my Persian ancestors, fire was the most sacred element. They never let it go out. It was always burning in fire temples. Even to this day, you can see remnants of those temples in some parts of central Asia. They date back to some 2600 years to the time of Persian Empire, the capita of which was the city of Shiraz in modern-day Iran, but it extended from modern-day India to modern-day Egypt. It was the world's first superpower for centuries.
Mary Ann Benoit replied:
Thank you so much! I was influenced by what I learned about Persian culture through my love and education related to Persian dance. I am glad it is coming through in my art:)
